Reasons you Should Start Choosing People Who Choose You
This will probably be the hardest and gut-wrenching thing you will do but, it is important you do it: Stop giving your love, time and energy to those who aren't ready to give you the same back.

Date someone who never stops choosing you. Be friends with someone who respects you and not someone who is looking to kill time.

Invest in those colleagues who want to see you do better and be better. Look for those mentors who genuinely believe you will make it big. That can only happen if you start choosing people who choose you from the beginning of everything.

Why isn't it okay to be with someone who can't love you back?

Do you constantly want to get your heart broken? We hope not. Because that's no way for anyone to live.

If you feel that you've been left out of plans, subtly insulted, made to feel like you don't belong and treated like you're insignificant by the very people you spend most of your time with then you are doing an incredible disservice to yourself.

You are amazing. You are special. And you deserve to be treated as if the whole world revolves around you. So why would you continue making a big deal out of people by filling life and happiness in their days, when they wouldn't even notice your presence or absence. You are just wasting your time.

Stop drowning for people who wouldn't enter the ocean for you.

Does choosing people who choose mean you're 'settling?'

Let's give you a slight glimpse of how life can be when you choose to surround yourself with people who put you first.

If you date someone who never stops choosing you then you will wake up in the morning with kisses because they're happy to see you next to them. This someone will genuinely want to know how your day went, your inhibitions, things that matter to you and what makes you happy. Someone who gets you flowers just because they wanted to. By choosing someone who chooses you, you open your heart to never-ending delight.

And not just love. If you decide to be friends with someone who always puts you first, you will love yourself more. You will be more confident. You won't have to worry about them running to other people because they are richer or can go to more expensive places. Your goodness and your choice of choosing them back will give you all the benefits and comforts that a real friendship promises.

Bottom line?

Love yourself enough to move away from people who don't love you or think the sun rises from your window. Because in the end, we all want someone who chooses us. Over anyone. Under any circumstances.
